ちなみに、同じようなことを考えるファンは海外にもいるわけで、フランスのファンサイト「Lost & Found」には、2007年から2014年1月までの公演について、どの曲が何回演奏されたかの記録が掲載されています。
そのページの記録から、昨年までの直近５年間＋今年の２回（つまり、2008年から2014年8月）のソロ・コンサートについて集計し直し、各楽曲が１回のコンサートで演奏される確率が何％かを計算してみました。過去五年間に、今年の２回を加えた全世界での公演回数は９７回。演奏された楽曲は１０３曲。演奏回数のトータルは１,６１９回です。ちなみに、ここには、ゲイリー・ルーカスとのジョイント・コンサートについては含めていません。

このデータから予測できることは、今回予定されている日本公演は全４回なので、確率２５％以上の楽曲であれば、見る・聴くことができる可能性はかなり高い、ということでしょうか。
もちろん、新作からの楽曲が演奏されるでしょうから、その分は考慮しなければなりませんし、今回新たな試みとして行われる「エレクトリック」の公演がどのような楽曲構成になるのか全く予測がつかないので、その分も考慮したセットリストとなると思っています。
1980年代の２回の来日公演では、エレクトリック・ギターを演奏しました。1986年の来日時にはAKAIのMIDIキーボードを用いて、ピアノの音以外の音も鳴らしていました。あるいは、エレキギターを使用した「Typical」というライブ・アルバムもありますから、その辺を復習しておくというのも一考に値するかもしれません。
いずれにせよ、海外のファンがなかなか体験できないことを日本では見せてくれるので、その幸運をたっぷりと楽しみましょう。
